We are the future. Are you with us?

Raising up the next generation of conservative leaders. Fighting for our future and our children’s futures.

Young Republicans membership is open to Republicans of all ages. If you believe in the power of the next generation, we have a place for you.

Help us attend state convention

The future of Texas will not be decided someday - it is being decided right now.

In just a few weeks, members of the New Braunfels Young Republicans will travel to Houston to participate in the Republican Party of Texas State Convention. This convention is where the Party debates its platform, elects leadership, trains grassroots activists, and prepares for the future of conservative leadership in Texas.

Our organization is made up of young conservatives between the ages of 18 and 40 - students, young professionals, small business owners, first responders, veterans, and future community leaders who are passionate about preserving the principles that make Texas strong: freedom, personal responsibility, limited government, and opportunity.

Unfortunately, many of our members simply cannot afford the rising costs of travel, hotels, convention registration, and transportation.

That is why we are asking for your help.

Your donation will directly assist Young Republicans from New Braunfels and Comal County in attending the State Convention and participating in the future of our Party. For many of our members, this will be their first opportunity to engage in the state political process at this level — to network with elected officials, learn campaign and grassroots strategies, and help shape the direction of the Republican Party of Texas.

This is more than a convention trip.

It is an investment in the next generation of conservative leadership.

Welcome to the New Braunfels Young Republicans

We are a group of young Republicans (ages 18-40) who are passionate about the future of our community, our state, and our nation. We are the next generation of Republican leadership and we’re ready to take on the challenges of a global society. We are working together, sharing ideas, and developing a vision for the future of America. We want a free nation, where people and businesses thrive and succeed. We want a free nation, where people have the right to be themselves. We want a free nation, where the American dream is whatever you make it to be.

We aren’t waiting for our future, we’re winning it.

The New Braunfels Young Republicans are building the next generation of conservative leadership right here at home. We recruit, train, and equip young candidates to run for public office with conviction, integrity, and a heart for service. Our members don’t sit on the sidelines — we knock doors, make calls, endorse strong candidates, and help elect leaders who reflect the values of New Braunfels and Comal County.

But our impact doesn’t end on Election Day. NBYR is a year-round movement committed to shaping the future of our community, our state, and our country. We educate young voters on the issues that matter most, advocate for conservative policy at the state and federal level, and show up where we’re needed — whether it’s volunteering at local nonprofits, supporting community events, or stepping in when our neighbors need a hand.

In everything we do, we believe young conservatives deserve a seat at the table — and we’re bold enough to build that table ourselves.

Honoring Judge Hoyt

After Judge Hoyt won her election, NBYR got to work coming up with ideas for how to recognize our long-time club member, friend, and County Judge-elect. Before our next board meeting to take up the matter of a plague, Judge Hoyt was appointed by the Commissioners Court to serve out the late Judge Krause’s (RIP) term. On Thursday, March 5, 2026, Judge Hoyt was sworn in and became our new County Judge.

On that morning, we called on our friend and club mentor, State Representative Carrie Issac - we knew exactly how to mark this day in history, honor Judge Hoyt, and not exceed any public gift limits. Representative Isaac secured the Texas Flag which was flying over the Texas Capitol in Austin on March 5th. She worked up an official certificate from the Texas House of Representatives, and at our meeting on April 21st, Carrie Isaac and Zach Boyer presented Judge Hoyt with the flag and certificate.

We are proud to be an active and engaged Young Republicans club - our members are elected officials, business leaders, students, and everyday Americans. Together, we’ve become protectors of the legacy of our community - a legacy of excellence in service and abundant opportunities for success.
